We are currently offering the following: -

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
8 week Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy programme, based on the original programme devised by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

MBCT combines traditional cognitive behavioural therapy with mindfulness and meditation. MBCT enables the participant to recognise and step out of automatic cognitive processes that can trigger stress, anxiety and depression. Participants recognise that certain thoughts and feelings are mentally destructive and are taught to allow the mind to move from automatic thought patterns to conscious emotional processing.

Scientific research supports the effectiveness of mindfulness for reducing depressive relapses, reducing cravings for substances people are addicted to, combating stress and being an effective tool for managing chronic pain and health conditions.

The MBCT programme takes place over 8 weeks. There is a weekly course and practice is done outside of the class with the use of MP3′s for regular meditation and techniques to integrate mindfulness into daily routines.

Course are held regularly in Corby, Kettering and at the Oxford Street Therapy Centre in Wellingborough, Northants. Places are limited, early booking is advised. You can also enjoy this course on a one to one basis via Skype or Google Hangouts, this is a more convenient option for many.

Weekly Mindfulness Meditation Classes
These classes will be taught by our fully qualified Mindfulness Coaches, consist of a meditation, and a short discussion or reading. There will be a mindfulness task given as home practice for those who wish to integrate mindfulness into their daily lives and links to meditations will be available for those who wish to meditate at home in between sessions.

Suitable for complete beginners or anyone who wishes to continue and deepen their practiceand definately for those who want to restart their mindfulness practice having stop for any reason. Please contact me to express your interest and secure your place. These sessions can also be one to one via Skype or Google Hangouts.



Attain and Retain Peace
Attain and Retain Peace One Day Meditation Workshops take place in Corby, Northamptonshire.

This course can also be taken via Skype over 4 weekly sessions. 
£45 each (includes a course manual and audio meditation recordings). 

Alongside meditation techniques (incorporating periods of meditation), the sessions cover theoretical learning to enable you to understand: -
  • What you truly want from life.
  • Why we get trapped into cycles of negative thinking.
  • Why seemingly ‘resolved’ emotional issues can return.
  • How to free ourselves of judgement.
  • The impact of emotional stress on our physical health.
  • How we can learn to observe our thoughts without engaging with them.
  • The challenges faced trying to establish and sustain a meditation practice and how to overcome them.

Reiki I
A one day workshop offering an introduction to Reiki and a Reiki I attunement.  Perfect for self-development or for taking the first steps to becoming a Reiki practitioner and working with energy.



Reiki II
A follow on from Reiki I.  As well as being an important part of working on yourself this enables you to practice and charge clients for Reiki.  This includes an introduction to the Reiki symbols and distance healing.  Please note it is not essential to have undertaken Reiki I with me to do this workshop as long as you have your Reiki I certificate and lineage.



Reiki Master/Teacher
A two day course after which you can attune others to the beautiful Reiki energy.  The remaining symbols will be introduced. As above it is not necessary to have completed Reiki I and II with us if valid certificates can be produced.



Introduction for Energy Healing
Energy healing is one of the most powerful complementary therapies that encompasses our mind, body and spirit.

Energy healers can utilise many healing modalities including colour, light, crystals and energy to balance the energy field that surrounds the human body, as well as the chakra system, in a non-invasive gentle way.

If you are interested in learning to work with energy, or are already a practicing therapist looking to add more tools to your toolbox this Introduction to Energy Healing one day workshop is perfect for you.

You will not only learn the theory behind energy but carry out practical exercises you can integrate into your lives and treatments to include how to check the chakras and healing with an array of methods including colour, light and essences.
